Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy *universal church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. AMEN.
I Believe that the Bible is Inspired by God. Every Word is TRUTH.
2Ti 3:16
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2Ti 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
I Believe a Person is Saved by Grace, through Faith in God.
Eph 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. I Believe in the Trying of your Faith, to bring maturity.
1Pe 1:7
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold thatperisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Jam 1:3
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 1Pe 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
1Pe 4:13
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 1Pe 4:14
If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the Spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

Please Note:
*Originally catholic (lower-case) meaning the church universal, the Body of Christ, and is accepted by Protestants and Roman Catholics. The use of the term "catholic" can cause confusion. The word catholic, with the lowercase "c", means "universal". So the catholic church refered to in the creed is the one universal church represented by the body of Christ. It is the body of believers. Here are some scriptures which cast light on this universal body of believers.
Please refer to: Romans 12:5, 1 Corinthians 10:16-17, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Ephesians 4:3-6, Colossians 1:16-19
